The Justice & Peace (J&P) Group
A small, friendly group which aims to raise awareness of social justice issues and to raise funding for local, national and international initiatives. We meet on a regular basis to organise a range of activities in support of agencies such as CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development), the Manna Centre for homeless people, the Jesuit Refugee Service, and ACAT (Action by Christians against Torture), and we co-ordinate weekly parish contributions of food and other items to Greenwich Foodbank in partnership with the Church of St Michael’s and All Angels, Blackheath. We contribute regular articles to the parish magazine, and information about our activities is posted on the J&P noticeboard at the back of the Church.
