Confessions: Saturday12 to1

Today is the Twenty Eighth Sunday of the Church’s year.

Wednesday is the Feast of St. Edward the Confessor, the great English King who is buried in Westminster Abbey. Friday is the feast of St. Teresa of Avila, the great Spanish Saint. During some of our trips to Spain, we have travelled to Avila and visited her Convent.

The First Holy Communion Children will be sharing in a special way in the 9.30 Mass today. They should be wearing their special crosses.

Thank you for your generous support for the Autumn Fast Day. We were able to send a total of £448.42 to Cafod.

If all goes well, works should be starting on the properties on Monday. With luck the heating, should be working today. There was an appointment for the boiler engineer to come on Friday – but this is being written before the work takes place.
